I fee it is not lack of skill but lack of commitment to play, fight and win.

well skill is surely not an issue with Pak team as it has some talent however,WILL is certainly one. I find Pak team most relaxed on the field, similar to Indian side a few years ago. Their fighting spirit is only conspicuous only against india to some extent. The Mental facet of a cricketer is shaped by the culture and ethos of a region and we all know how it’s like in Pak. They are good fighters off the field but not so on it ! You ‘d ve observed that Pak either wins or loses by big margins often which speaks volumes about their attitude. They often give up often in close contests, more so in this decade. I guess one big reason is that Pak seldom palys as a unit and there are various factions within the group. without being a cohesive unit no team can achieve great heights and sadly enough is not one currently.
Also the socio political situation is one disconcerting factor for the Pak team as it has resulted in ‘cricketing isolation’ thereby denying cricket to flourish and prosper in Pak. I feel for them really as a cricket buff. Hope things would get better for them.
