Workout to shape/tone or reduce chest fat.. Stairs + Push-ups?
I’m currently living in a situation where I do not have access to workout machines/gym. I also am saving up for equipment not related to fitness. However, I noticed that I am getting fat on my chest (like mild moobs). It sort of fans out my shits and makes me look all around chubby, though I’m not. Just around the chest.
The solution I came up with is to do a lot of push-ups to flatten/build my chest and to run up the 2 flight of stairs just outside of where I live. This is the first time in my life EVER where I’m going to workout and I’m wondering if this is the correct thing to do. Advice?
It’s a start. Include pull ups too for your arms and lats. Doing both provides balance, and will give you more ‘umph” power on those last tough push ups.
To reduce body fat, you need to do ‘whatever’ to get your heart pumping at whats called your “Target Heart Rate” (google that for more info).
When working in the THR, most of your energy is coming directly from stored fat (which is what man-boobs are). This and a good balanced diet will do wonders.
