Fitness Belt

I have a Proform treadmill about 10 years old. The belt needs to be lubricated.?

The manual that came with the machine does not specify any particular lubricant except it does not recommend silicone based lubricants. Unfortunately that is the only kind available in local fitness equipment stores. Any suggestions? Please help. Thanks.

Wax-based lubricant for treadmill belts are available on the market. If you can’t find them near by, you can always order them online! Try amazon.com.
