South Berkeley fire company receives funding
INWOOD – South Berkeley Volunteer Fire Co. has won a $38,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through its Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, officials announced Wednesday. South Berkeley Chief Rick Petry said the grant will be used for an air cascade system that will be installed at the fire statio.
